There are four types of notifications that the user will get on Bloomz. 


1. Email Notifications


  • Who gets Email Notifications?
    • User who is invited via email will get real-time email notifications for all the updates that are being posted to the classes, groups, and communities that they are part of.
  • Content in the email notifications
    • User will get trimmed email notifications if they have already created the account. 
    • User will receive any attachments that a person has included on post or update.
    • User who is invited via email and did not create the Bloomz account, will get all the content in the email notifications. 
  • How to change the Email Notification Settings? 
    • Go to Account Settings >Notifications to configure the email notifications
    • Select Email in the How to receive notifications? 


2. Push Notifications


  • Who gets Push Notifications on the Phone? 
    • User who has created a Bloomz account by downloaded the app on their phone (iPhone or Android)
    • User who created the Bloomz account on web (desktop) and has downloaded the app and logged into the app on phone (iPhone and Android). In this scenario, we automatically turn off all the email notifications. The user can choose to turn them ON. 
  • How to change the Push Notification Settings? 
    • Go to Account Settings
    • Select Notifications to configure the Push notifications
    • Select Push in the How to receive notifications? 
    • Turn on/off the toggle buttons 


3. SMS Notifications


  • Who gets SMS Notifications? 
    • User who is invited via phone number will get real-time SMS notifications for all the updates that are being posted to the classes, groups and communities that he is invited to. 
    • User who signs up to the class using class access code via TEXT
    • User who has added phone number to account.
  • Content in the SMS notifications 
    • User will get only 140 characters as TEXTS
    • To view full content and be able to respond, user has to sign into Bloomz. 
    • If invited via phone number, the user will sign in with the phone number and the password we send them. 
  • How to change the SMS (Text) Notification Settings? 
    • Go to Account Settings
    • Select Notifications to configure the SMS notifications
    • Select SMS in the How to receive notifications? 
    • Turn on/off the toggle buttons 


3. Robocall Notifications


  • Who gets Robocall Notifications? 
    • User who is invited via  Phone number will get robocalls if the admin enables this in the update or alert.
    • User who signs up to the class using class access code via TEXT will get robocalls if the admin enables this in the update or alert.
  • How to change the Robocall Notification Settings? 
    • Go to Account Settings
    • Select Notifications to configure the robocall notifications
    • Select Robocall in the How to receive notifications? 
    • Turn on/off the toggle buttons 


NOTE: Urgent alerts will always come through robocall if the admin enables.
