Student Account Lifecycle in Bloomz: Invitation, Registration, Approval & Verification
Bloomz provides a secure and streamlined experience for student accounts, ensuring privacy while maintaining parent and teacher oversight. Here's how the entire process works:
Student Access with Individual Account, Access can only be invited using their email into the classes, ie Middle/High School mode

1. How a Student Is Invited to Bloomz
Teachers can invite students in two ways:
Via Email: Enter the student’s email address while adding them to the class.
Via Access Code: Teachers can generate a Student Access Code, which the student can use to join the class.
Best Practice: Use access codes only when students have individual email addresses and parent supervision.
Note: Students cannot be invited using Phone Numbers.
2. How the Student Gets Notified
Once invited:
If invited via email, the student will receive an invitation link directly via email.
If using an access code, the student must go to www.bloomz.com, click Enter Code, then enter the access code provided and click Next.
3. How the Student Registers into Bloomz
To register:
Go to the Bloomz app or bloomz.com
Enter the email (if invited directly) or enter the access code (if joining via code)
Enter First Name, Last Name, Email, Age, Password, check the Terms and Privary and click Join
A verification email is sent to the student to confirm their account.
After verifying their email, students can log in www.bloomz.com using their email and password.
4. Parent Approval Process
For students under 14, Bloomz requires Parental Consent to comply with COPPA regulations.
Parents receive an email or notification to approve the student’s participation and account activation.
The student account will remain Not Registered/Pending until a parent gives consent.
5. Teacher Verification Process
Once the student joins the class, the teacher receives a notification.
Teachers can view the student in the Manage > Student/Members tab and ensure they are connected properly.
Important Notes
If a student registers independently, their account will be in a Not Registered/Pending state until a teacher verifies them and a parent approves their access.
Students cannot message or post without teacher moderation, ensuring a secure and age-appropriate learning environment.
