We released the brand new Health Checks, in time for all schools with in-person learning to monitor and catch any changes in

their community's health.



Enabling Health Check component for your class

If you are a teacher using Bloomz  (Free or Premium version), to enable the feature simply go to the Class Settings and turn 

ON the Health Check component for your class. 

  • Click on the class in the left navigation tray 
  • Click on the Settings icon on the top
  • Click General





Requesting Health Check submission from your class parents/ staff

With Bloomz, teachers and staff can request parents to check their kids' health according to a few simple indicators. 

  • Click on your class in the left navigation tray
  • Click on the +Create
  • Click Request Health Check 
  • Set the schedule for the Health Check submissions and Click Next 
  • Select the recipients (Who you want to get the form filled by) and Click Next
  • Fill a message that shows to the recipient in the notification to fill the form and click Send

Set a schedule for the health check submission and click Next

These requests can be set once at a specific time and in a recurring fashion if needed, to save staff time. Once set, Bloomz will send a notification to the parent or staff in charge of the checks at the time and date required.



Select the recipients whom you want the form to be filled by and click Next



Fill in a message (this shows to the recipient in the notification to fill the form) and click Send

PS: When the parents or teachers submit the form upon receiving the health check request from you, Bloomz will automatically

send alerts to administrators and/or teachers for students or staff who report symptoms.


What will the parents see and How will they submit the form?


They will see a red badge in the notification center (Bell icon). Upon clicking the bell icon they will see the 

Health Check Submission request. They need to click on Submit Now 


Parents or staff can create a record by simply checking the boxes in the provided form. This form was prepared based on CDC guidelines, and can be customized if needed


Once they fill in, they can Click Save.  When the parents or teachers submit the form upon receiving the health check request from you, Bloomz will automatically send alerts to administrators and/or teachers for students or staff who report symptoms.




Administering the Health Check Form Submissions

You monitor all data submissions daily to catch any major changes in your class. You can see who has submitted the 

information and who is yet to comply.

  • Click on the class name in the left menu 
  • Click on the Updates
  • Click Health

  • Click on the class
  • Click on the Manage 
  • Click Students
  • Click on the name of a student 
  • Click on View Profile 
  • Click Heath tab 
  • Click + Button 
  • Click Health Report and submit the report by filling the form
